Nel 1945, in una casa di campagna circondata da vigneti, il bambino Beppe, dolce e curioso e innamorato dei fratelli maggiori, ascolta le tante piccole bugie bianche della madre Lucia, che coprono il dolore della guerra. Tuttavia, il prezzo da pagare per ogni menzogna è sempre più caro e alla fine un momento di distrazione pianta nel cuore di Beppe il seme del dubbio: per la prima volta, si chiederà cosa stia succedendo intorno a lui, e sarà costretto a confrontarsi con un mondo che non può più ignorare. Un racconto intimo e delicato, tratto da una storia vera, su come il conflitto appaia agli occhi dei più piccoli.

LUCIA FULLIN Laureata in economia, ha passato gli ultimi anni a esplorare l'Europa, lavorando in prestigiose istituzioni internazionali. Tornata alle radici udinesi nel 2024, scrive e cura il podcast Respira. Figlio della guerra (Scatole Parlanti 2025) è il suo primo romanzo.
