Tosca
Cantante e artista eclettica, collabora con i più grandi artisti italiani e internazionali. Già Targa Tenco nel 1997 e nel 2019,nel 2020 vince ben due Targhe Tenco: per la ‘miglior canzone singola’ con Ho amato tutto e come ‘miglior interprete di canzoni’ con Morabeza: l’album, prodotto e arrangiato da Joe Barbieri, contiene canzoni originali e rivisitazioni in quattro lingue, eseguite insieme ai grandi artisti che ha incontrato in un lungo viaggio attraverso il mondo. Con il documentario Il suono della voce ha ricevuto il premio ‘Protagonista dell’anno’ ai Nastri d’argento 2020. La sua attività teatrale comprende appassionate interpretazioni in numerosi spettacoli al fianco di Massimo Venturiello e memorabili incursioni nel teatro sociale Con il brano Ho amato tutto di Pietro Cantarelli si è aggiudicata anche il premio Giancarlo Bigazzi per la migliore composizione e il sesto posto in classifica al Festival di Sanremo 2020, dove ha duettato con Sílvia Pérez Cruz nel brano Piazza Grande, aggiudicandosi il primo posto in classifica nella serata delle cover, votata dall’orchestra del Festival. Piazza Grande è ora su tutte le piattaforme digitali con un video ideato e dipinto a mano dal live painter Andrea Spinelli.
Ad aprile, in piena emergenza sanitaria pandemica da Covid-19, ha inciso Il canto degli italiani, una rilettura acustica dell’inno d’Italia: un singolo e un video – scelto tra l’altro per aprire i festeggiamenti del 75° anniversario della Liberazione del 25 aprile – la cui fruizione digitale è destinata a raccogliere fondi per l’acquisto di dispositivi di protezione individuale per i volontari della Croce Rossa Italiana.
